SuperShape Weight Loss & Toning Program


  We're taking it up a notch!  The popular ShapeTraining Weight Loss & Toning Program, is now SuperShape.  The same great program, but more!   Pay for results...not a gym. 4 weeks with a personal trainer and no gym fees to pad the cost. Before and after measurements and a food diary are included as always, but now there are even more sessions available and new training protocols to help you make even faster progress. How to start SuperShape sessions?
SoftShape is the preview to SuperShape, allowing you to ease into some exercises that are quite different than any you may have tried before. We will be using the TRX Suspension Training system and high-speed intervals.  Further we use mostly free weights and SuperShape students are usually running at 10 mph and doing push-ups & pull-ups.  If you plan to start SUPERSHAPE please review the SoftShape page first to determine which program timeslots best fit your schedule.  After 4 weeks of SoftShape we can decide together if you would like to advance your training to the next level.  Then contact me to do your measurements so we can start your SuperShape sessions. With your payment at that time we'll do your before measurements, you'll receive a food diary and an overview of the program. Please come in attire suitable for measuring (fitness shorts or pants and a t-shirt or tank).  Set aside 20 minutes for this first measurement. 

What is SuperShape?
SuperShape is a proven weight loss and toning program. Guided by a personal trainer, you’ll do shaping and fatburning exercises guaranteed to bring fast progress. A special SuperShape food diary provides accountability, noting your nutritional strengths and needs.

Now you can pay for results, not gym overhead. Knowing that you have a personal training appointment at least 3 times a week not only helps to keep you focused, it puts your fitness dollars to use in the best possible way…direct results for you.

How much does SuperShape cost?
SuperShape breaks down to $8.55 plus tax for each session, payable in full at the start of the 3 x week, 4-week program (total with tax is $129). These sessions, each 55 minutes in length, are priced at 1/6 the cost of of one-on-one sessions. It’s fun, effective personal training and the time flys by! There are usually about 6-10 students in each small group setting*.

Where does SuperShape meet?
Sessions are held at AlamoShape located at 700 First Street in the Granada Center.  Look for our red sign and the black sign for Shuvani Studio. You enter the building from the East outside entrance under the red AlamoShape awning. You'll love the distinctly feminine atmosphere. Check out the Shuvani Bellydance class schedule as well as our Step, Zumba, Pilates, Hip Hop and TurboKick classes.

How is my progress measured?
Physical Measurements - Before/after measurements at the beginning and end of each month, are a $66 value offered at no charge to SuperShape students. Body fat and circumference measures are usually more telling than the scale, but even so, most clients lose 3-4 lbs the first month.

Bone Density and Strength - Not only will you begin to see a pleasing shape to your muscles, but you will also find your strength increasing as daily activities become easier.

Knowledge - As a SuperShape student you will learn how to exercise correctly and understand better how your body works.

Self Esteem - It’s not just about how your jeans fit! Your confidence levels and how you feel about yourself is even more important.

When does SuperShape meet?
With SuperShape currently* you can work out any day of the week with sessions Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 8:15 a.m., Saturday at 9:15; Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 p.m.  The program price is based on 3 x week, but plan on coming every other day if you can.   * Note: Subject to change....The sessions are a little larger with this current policy of these unlimited sessions, but the workouts are still great and it gives you more options. The more we see you, the better you'll feel!

When can I start?
The program starts anew each month, and as stated you must complete 4 weeks of SoftShape before beginning SuperShape.  After 4 weeks of the conditioning exercises in SoftShape you can begin SuperShape.  We will do your measurements and you will receive your food diary. Download all forms on our sign-up page , fill them out, then e-mail us through our contact page for a measurement appointment. All client contact is via e-mail, so please check your messages on a regular basis and feel free to send me any questions that way.
