HOW DO I BECOME A PART OF THE ALAMOSHAPE FANTASY SHAPE TEAM?
Any member of AlamoShape can become a part of the team after they have completed a month of training in the SuperShape program. All you need is a commitment to a rigorous training schedule for muscle shaping and/or growth and the will to eat a healthy diet to produce a winning body fat percentage. A desire to walk proudly on stage in pursuit of a trophy is important, but not imperative.
THAT MEANS I DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE TO GET ON STAGE IN A BIKINI?
Exactly! We know that some women just want to look as if they could win a trophy, but they really aren't interested in being on the stage. You can train right alongside winning competitors and go through their same training/nutrition program, even down to the modeling and tanning phases, but never have the desire to actually compete on stage. This is exactly what Dana and Jocelyne did in the fall of 2012 and they both described it as one of the greatest experiences of their lives. They were right there in the audience watching the women they trained with take the top prizes on stage Oct 29, 2012, and they could have competed right alongside them if they had desired to do so. Instead they enjoyed the benefits of the training and plan to do a competition in May of 2013.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE ACTUAL TRAINING? DO I HAVE TO HAVE WEIGHT-LIFTING EXPERIENCE?
The ShapeTraining programs at AlamoShape prepare you for the more rigorous FantasyShape training workouts. We recommend the SoftShape program first so that we can evaluate your form, teach you new exercises and protocols you may not be familiar with, and help you get stronger without injury. From SoftShape you will move to SuperShape where the workouts become much more intense. FantasyShape has been described as "SuperShape to Infinity and Beyond" lol, and it is truly amazing to watch the transformations happen as these women do double workouts, high-volume/high-intensity training, and fine tune their nutrition to create winning physiques. SO NUTRITION GUIDANCE IS PART OF FANTASY SHAPE?
Absolutely! Your hard-earned muscle and tone won't show through if you don't reduce the amount of bodyfat hiding your beautiful curves. Our nutrition consultant guides you all the way to your final moments before stepping on the stage with nutrition recommendations geared to your individual needs.
I AM READY TO GET IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE WITH THE FANTASY SHAPE TEAM! WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
First, be sure you are a a member of AlamoShape in some way, either the Women's Fitness Classes, just $33/month, or through SoftShape or SuperShape. Remember, you will have to be training in the SuperShape program in order to be part of the FantasyShape team; we can get you there after a month of SoftShape or if you are a more advanced exerciser you may be able to bypass SoftShape by completing 2 one-hour personal training sessions to familiarize yourself with the TRX, BOSU, RipTrainer, Kettle Bells and barbell training. We have no contracts so all memberships are just a month long, no strings attached and no salespeople either!
If you are already a member contact Rosemarie at the club so she can give you the updated FantasyShape Team agreement to review. It will tell you a little more about the diet and training schedules that you will need to adhere to. Once you are part of the team you will receive additional competition training and bodyfat measures to help you reach your goals, as well as nutrition/modeling/tanning help and advice and more.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
Yes, the best part, besides getting in fantastic shape, is that as a FantasyShape Team member you are eligible to win a free year of SuperShape training if you win a first place trophy at a certified competition or pageant. We have given away 6 SuperShape packages to 6 amazing women who have won first place in a competition we have trained them for. Talk to Dena, Claudine, Amanda, Sarina, Sarah E, or Sarah R. about how valuable this prize (over $1500 value) really is. For some of them it meant more than the crown or trophy they won!
